A seal rests in his lap. Wears a dark velvet jacket, buttoned up, with cravat and wearing knee breeches and stockings. Short, white-grey hair without a wig. Looks out over the right shoulder of the spectator. A curtain behind with tassel hanging to the right and fluted pilaster.
