object type: Lead glass, the large cup-shaped bowl, blown, and wheel-engraved; short stem with domed, square, cut foot. One side of the bowl is decorated with a view of Sunderland from bridge titled 'SUNDERLAND BRIDGE'  below. The other side is inscribed 'I.M.R.' in monogram with 'JOHNSTON' below. A band of floral motifs is engraved near the rim.
