object type: Clear glass, the stem and finial containing gold ruby threads, cut and wheel-engraved. Conical bowl with collar below; inverted baluster stem containing seven red threads; circular, slightly conical foot; domed cover with onion shaped finial rising to a point. The bowl is cut with a row of circles below the rim, underneath which is a wheel-engraved continuous frieze of a boar hunt. The foot and cover are decorated with a circular spray of flowers and foliage.
