White earthenware, moulded, covered with unevenly applied blue-tinted lead-glaze, and painted overglaze in blue, green, red, pink, and dark pink enamel colours. The circular cup has deep, double-curved sides, and stands on a footring. The upper curve is fluted on the exterior and the rim is lightly scalloped. The circular saucer has deep double-curved sides, and stands on a footring. The upper curve is fluted on the interior and the rim is lightly scalloped. The inside of the cup is decorated with a central sprig with a blue flower, and below the rim has a border comprising a dark pink band with a sgraffito horizontal wavy line, and a green band below, broken at four points by a rose with three pendant stems of tiny red flowers and leaves, flanked by four blue curved strokes. The exterior is decorated with a rose sprig and three stylised floral sprigs, separated by paired leaves.
