Upper surface: a palmette frieze is painted in blue, green and turquoise with black outlines that form the border section of the tile panel. The start of the pattern that occupies the rest of the panel, incorporating festooned manderolas linked by sinuous stems surrounded by flowers and grape vines, is just visible on the lower edge.
