The ewer stands on a circular foot with a sloping rim and domed centre. The hemispherical lower part is separated from the upper part by a horizontal rib, below which are nine bosses. The upper part has six shallow lobes and flares outward slightly towards the rim, which is pinched at the front to form a pointed lip. The loop handle has a vertical depression and a stumpy kick at the lower end.
