Carved and painted wooden oar and shaft (partial). Half of the oar has been broken off. There is a dowel hole that runs through the head of the oar, at the top. Much of the red pigment remains, however there are a number of areas with exposed wood.
Painted oar and shaft (partially broken). Belonging to a group of five wooden oars (however the slipbook notes there are 6) of varying sizes and states of preservation, of which only one remains complete.
