The tea caddy is ovoid with fluted sides, a circular splayed footring and a cylindrical neck. The high domed cover is fluted and has a flower knob. The shoulders are decorated with a scalloped band of underglaze blue with a gilt dentil collar above and edged below with gilt C-scrolls from which hang three floral garlands in coloured enamels; above the footring there is a gilt scroll-edges turquoise border, caillouté in black with a gilt band below.
