The tureen is of oval quatrefoil shape, with two crabstock handles with floral terminals. The stand is of similar shape, with gadroon-moulded rim; the cover en suite, surmounted by a single stalk handle. The tureen is painted with sprays and sprigs of flowers, the handles and floral terminals naturalistically coloured.
