Decorated with a Japan pattern in imitation of Imari porcelain, comprising scrolling chrysanthemum sprays, divided by four underglaze blue panels reserved with circular floral medallions and gilt foliate scrolls; a blue and white floral meander border below; gilt-edged rims. The cover is decorated en suite.
