The underside is convex in the middle and has a circular ventilation hole near the back. The outer edge has been ground flat. The circular low mound base has a low stump at the back which supports the figure. The woman stands with her feet apart holding an openmwork basket filled with flowers over her left arm, and a posy of flowers in her left hand in front of her. She has brown hair, eyes and eyebrows, ruddy cheeks and red lips. Her broad-brimmed hat has a blue ribbon and bow round the crown, and a red underside to the brim. She wears a pink dress. a white stomacher with red diaper pattern and gold edges, and a white apron decorated with red and gold floral sprays and turquoise spots, and having a turquoise bow applied below the stomacher. He shoes are yellow with blue bows. Applied to the base beside her left foot are two pink flowes with blue centres, a green bud and three leaves; and beside her right foot, one similar flower and two leaves.
