The pear-shaped jug has a simulated bamboo handle, and flared neck with quatrelobed ogival rim. It stands on a small double-walled circular footring, with quatrefoil decoration. The sides are pierced with panels of Chinese-inspired fretwork alternating with upright bands of circlets.
