Painted underglaze in blue, and overglaze in blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, puce, red, purplish-grey, and black enamels, and gilt. The concave, glazed underside has a circular ventilation hole to right of centre. The rounded rectangular base has five scroll feet with a pierced rocaille motif between the front two. On the viewer's right there is a pedestal decorated on the front with applied flowers and leaves, and having on top, a globular vase with three flowers on its cover. The woman stands beside it, with two applied flowers and leaves between her bare feet. resting her left hand on the vase, and holding up towards her face a small bunch of flowers. She has black hair with a yellow scarf over it, and has a gold earring in her left ear. She wears a long white robe with a polychrome floral pattern, and gold edging, which is open at the front to reveal her left breast; a blue, turquoise, and yellow striped petticoat; and a drape which is pink with gold stripes at the front, and underglaze blue, yellow, and turquoise at the back. The pedestal is marbled in purplish-grey, the flowers and polychrome, and the vase is white and gold.
