The underside has a roughly circular ventilation hole at the back, and one patch mark. About three-quarters of the circumference has been ground down to flatten it. The oval mound base has a C-scroll across the front, and at the back, a tree stump with on the right, a short branch with two yellow flowers and leaves, and on the left, a longer branch with four yellow flowers, an orange and purple convolvulus flower, and leaves.There is a yellow flower and leaves on the ground to its left. The man stands in front of the trunk with his right foot forward, and leans forward and to the viewer's left, with his head turned in that direction. He holds a cock in his right arm, and has a brown stick in his left hand. He has grey hair, brown eyes and eyebrows, and red lips. He wears a pale yellow hat with its brim turned up at the front and decorated with a purple flower, and two white feathers (one missing). His jacket is pink with a red collar and gold edges. His breeches are red with a design of yellow flowers and purple foliage in reserves edged with turquoise, and two moulded turquoise flowers applied on the outside of each leg. His shoes are pale yellow with a moulded purple flower on each.
