IDENTIFIERS ----------- id: 47106 accession number: C.5-2002 DATE AUDIT ---------- created: Saturday 6 August 2011 updated: Thursday 20 March 2025 DESCRIPTIVE DATA ---------------- object type: Yellowish-buff earthenware, press-moulded, machine-polished to produce an extremely smooth surface, and decorated with turquoise underglaze pigment and platinum leaf. The interior is of rounded oval plan. On one side the walls slope towards the centre and have eight vertical undulations. The top of the sides slopes inwards all round for about 4 cm. The base is undecorated except for an inlaid oval line of pale beige clay (?) circles stuck on at intervals raise the base slightly from the ground. The outside is undecorated. The base of the interior is coloured turquoise all over.
