object type: Glazed quartz plaque. The object does not have an obvious function and it is possibly a foundation plaque (a dedication made by the King at a new temple). There are traces of a glaze on top of the stone and so the appearance is similar to 'faience' , which is a crushed quartz with glass-like glaze covering the surface.
