At the shoulder, a dowel hole is present, alongside what was suggested as a metal joint but this is not immediately clear. The knuckle of the third digit is missing due to a chip in the wood. There also appears similar damage on the front of the arm, just below the shoulder blade. See statue of Tjetji (BM EA 29594) for a comparable example. title: statuette fragment, perhaps LICENSING --------- text license status: CC0 image license status: CC-BY-NC-SA OWNERSHIP --------- instutition: The Fitzwilliam Museum department: Antiquities STABLE URL ---------- url: https://data.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/id/object/61705 TECHNIQUES ---------- carved CATEGORIES ------ category: to be identified DATING ------ DIMENSIONS ---------- dimension: Depth units: cm value: 0.8 dimension: Length units: cm value: 4.1 dimension: Width units: cm value: 0.9
