object type: Wooden carved figure (demonstrating significant wear) presented in a seated position. Dowel holes visible on either side of the torso indicate arms were originally present, and a filled dowel hole at the base suggests the figure was attached to a larger object, such as a boat model. Faint traces of pigments (white, black and deep red/brown) illustrate the figure's kilt, skin and hair. The surface is heavily degraded and multiple deep cracks are apparent. No modern writing is visible. There appears no sign of facial features either.
