DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: fritware, mould made, painted in blue and black, both have which have run, under a transparent turquoise glaze.
Shape: fluted cylindrical body with a carination at the shoulder leading to a spouted neck; tapers in the lower body toward a foot ring base. A strap handle with thumb rest is attached to the neck and shoulder.
Exterior: on the neck a two black palmettes flank the spout, which is decorated with a black cable pattern and black lines. Black scrolls are painted in the shoulder, while on the body the flutes are painted alternately with a black cable pattern and black fleurs de lys. Blue lines are painted either side of the flutes, on the shoulder and rim. The handle is painted with black lines and a black cable pattern.
