Shape: bi-conical bowl with a plain rim, standing on a foot ring Interior: around the rim a kufic inscription is painted in blue on a reserved lustred background containing split palmettes and incised scrolls. Medallions outlined in blue and containing a lustre palmette separate the inscription. On the body, a cursive inscription is painted in lustre and separated by medallions containing roughly drawn lustre birds and scrolls. A tripartite roundel encircled by blue and lustre crosses, depicts a tripartite cosmology incorporating fish below two deer, all reserved against a lustred background with palmettes and incised scrolls. On the upper section of the roundel spirals and dotted circles are painted in lustre. Exterior: below the rim a cursive inscription is reserved against a lustre background and contained within lustre and blue bands. On the lower body a lustre chain link pattern is painted above two concentric lustre bands.
