Circular with a narrow rim, shallow curved sides and flat centre, standing on a footring. In the middle there is a circular medallion framed by two narrow concentric circles enclosing a half-length figure of George I wearing a crown and ermine robe, and holding a sceptre, with a crescent-shaped blue lower background. On either side of his head on a white ground are the initials G and R.The medallion is surrounded by scattered floral sprays and sprigs. The rim has a border of solid oval spots alternating with pairs of open circles.
