Circular bowl with deep sloping curved sides, standing on a hollow stem with a spreading circular foot. The exterior of the bowl is painted with an arcade with clustered columns enclosing floral sprays and insects. The spandrels above are filled with foliage except one which has an oval cartouche inscribed 'Dan: Whincopp/1727'. The stem is decorated with birds, flowers and foliage.
