object type: Buff earthenware, tin-glazed, and decorated with a powdered manganese ground and painting in blue. Rectangular with recessed top and base. The top has a central square aperture flanked by groups of six small circular holes. The sides are decorated with two circular reserves and the ends with one, all painted in blue with sprays of flowers.  The top has two reserves in the shape of carnations outlined in blue, and a border round the central aperture.
