The large round curl over her forehead in the painting appears to have been misinterpreted as a small hat. The image on the dish may have been after a print engraved by William Faithorne after Stoop, published in 1661.referenceterm-106453adlib-term-10645360056370-7375-3dac-996c-6cc9d5db35a917th Century, Latereferenceterm-107696adlib-term-10769673d598b5-9f18-3ba8-93d4-b1d02583d300Charles IIreferenceterm-113529adlib-term-1135295898861a-6410-3868-bc4e-ca25f0921043literalEnglandEnglandcountryliteralSomersetSomersetregionBrislingtonreferenceterm-106216adlib-term-106216825b8379-ec94-388e-9a59-624e40c090d0literalUnited Provinces of the NetherlandsUnited Provinces of the NetherlandscountryLondonreferenceterm-42861adlib-term-428615b368285-f1a8-3dcf-a5b2-637fd3c3956cearthenwareDiametercm34.4Heightcm7referencemedia-170141adlib-media-170141cbc62147-7fe6-33d9-b9b3-b355a0e4d7d9jpegaa/aa27/C_1642_1928.jpg1heightpixels760widthpixels56416162779821371imagejpegaa/aa27/mid_C_1642_1928.jpg1heightpixels674widthpixels50016162779821371imagejpegaa/aa27/C_1642_1928.jpg1heightpixels760widthpixels56416162779821371imagejpegaa/aa27/preview_C_1642_1928.jpg1heightpixels337widthpixels25016162779821371image0media
