DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: Buff earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white, and painted in blue and dull red. The pot had a bulbous body with a short cylindrical neck. It has two handles, each formed by two joined rolls of clay with twisted terminals and snakes applied to the backs. On one side there is an applied S-shaped tubular spout (top missing) with a snake applied to the front. The domed cover has an acorn-shaped knob surmounted by a bird, and two handles pf similar form to those on the pot, but with long snake-like lower terminals extending sideways. One handle is mainly a plaster replacement.
