Pear-shaped with wide neck, small projecting lip, and reeded loop handle. On the neck an applied relief of King David playing a harp is repeated five times. In the intervals are painted, on one side of the neck, a boy, and on the other side, a spray of flowers. The shoulder below one of the reliefs at the front has a painted inscription, 'Nathaniel:/ Ireson/ 1748', the date enclosed in a rectangle.
