Shape: hemispherical bowl with flattened everted rim, sits on a foot ring
Interior: dashed, pointed lines are painted on the rim. On the body a frieze of tear-drop shaped leaves containing a zig-zag line are separated by a scroll and contained within concentric lines. On the base, within a scalloped roundel, a stylised pagoda surrounded by flag poles is separated from a similar reflection by a pair of horizontal lines and dashes. The glaze does not cover the surface evenly on the base, giving a mottled appearance; three scar marks on the base indicate the use of a tripod stacking device in the kiln.
Exterior: a leaf frieze, identical to that on the interior, is painted on the body. The glaze covers the surface to the lower body, where it gathers at certain points.
