Cylindrical, with slightly splayed base and ear-shaped handles. On the front there are the script initials ER in monogram below a crown, flanked by '1900' and '2000', with below, a dark pink rose and dark green leaves on a stem branchjing to right and left, and bearing three roses on each side, two thistles on the left and one on the right, and behind them on each side, a spray of forget-me-knots. On the other side, there is a central dark pink rose and dark green leaves on a stem branching to right and left, with two roses and a thistle on each, and behind them, a spray of forget-me-knots. There is a broad bluish-geen band round the rim, a narrow horizontal band below the flowers, and a row of scallops round the base. The handles have bluish-green lines down the sides, and three horizontal strokes of graduated size across the top, repeated in reverse order below.
