Circular with a slightly convex sloping rim, deep curved sides and flat centre. The well is decorated with a bewigged and crowned king's head,flanked by formal floral motifs springing from a garland comprising two striped sausage-shaped motifs separated by three diamond-shaped motifs below the head. The outlines of all 'are jewelled' in white slip. On the rim are two interlacing brown and dark brown wavy lines with cream' jewelling' on the dark brown.
