The front is decorated in the middle with a full-length figure of Queen Anne wearing a crown, and a long dress with a striped skirt, and holding up a tulip in her right hand and a circular petalled flower, probably a rose, in her left. On either side of her are the initials A R, and a long curved leaf with an undulating inner edge, and below, divided by her skirt, the date 17 12. The outlines of the figure and leaves are jewelled with spots of white slip.
