Circular with a gently sloping rim and shallow well. In the middle are Chinese pagodas, bridges, and trees with a bird and a butterfly overhead. The rim is decorated with sprays of formal flowers in four panels separated by panels of Chinese trellis pattern. The base is painted in blue with the initials 'GL' . There are three spur or peg marks on the reverse.
