The cup stands on a footring and has deep bulbous sides, a slightly everted rim, and a loop handle. The circular cover is slightly domed, and has a knob in the shape of a rose on a stalk with three leaves. The exterior of the cup is painted with a peach, a damson, and a spray of hawthorn; two strawberries, and leaves; and two cherries witha pale brown fruit and leaves. It has a gold band round the footring, one down each side of the handle, and a dentilated band round the rim. The cover, is painted with two detached leaves, two strawberries and a blue flower, and a small three leaf sprig.
