The plate is circular with a sloping rim, deep curved sides and flat centre. The well is painted in all the colours with a cock, facing to the left, amidst stylized flowering plants. The rim is decorated with four curved rectangular panels of red trellis pattern separated by smaller panels with green, yellow and red strokes forming a fan shape, all between two dark manganese-brown bands.
