The vase is of pear-shaped octagonal form with a short vertical neck. A hole has been bored in the shoulder just below the neck. The base is recessed. Round the neck there are two narrow manganese bands and another after a short space. Below this the sides are decorated with a Chinese landscape with flowering trees among which are a standing man and a seated man.
