Shape: segmental bowl with slightly angled plain rim sitting on a low, wide foot ring Interior: on the rim a frieze of stylised blue tulips with turquoise leaves are separated by blue flowers with a red centre, all outlined in black and painted between two black concentric lines. On the body, an arabesque outlined in blue incorporates red split palmettes painted against a black fish scale pattern coloured blue or turquoise. Exterior: black concentric lines are painted on the rim, at the join between lip and body and on the foot ring. On the body a frieze of black spirals are highlighted in blue. On the underside of the foot ring a mark consists of a line within a circle highlighted in turquoise.
