The dish is in the form of a concave, serrated-edged leaf, whose stalk curves back to the left to form a handle, supported on three small coiled clay feet, perhaps intended for snail shells. The interior is decorated in relief with vine branches and bunches of grapes, picked out in green glaze, and the edge of the dish and handle are also green.
