On the cavetto, stylised palmette leaves outlined thickly in blue and with a central red dot are painted on a background of black wave scrolls. In the roundel, two floral sprays of saz leaves and flowers are painted in blue and red, all outlined in black and reserved on a green background. Exterior: below the rim a black bracketed line, while on the body a frieze of green rosette and blue fleur de lys are outlined in black. The blue pigment has run slightly into the surrounding glaze.
