The jug has a circular recessed base, straight sides sloping outwards towards the rim, and a sparrow-beak lip. The back of the jug with its handle are missing. The exterior is decorated in Chinese style with a a house beside a fence flanked by trees and grasses, above which are five groups of three dots representing flying birds.
