The teapot has a globular body standing on a circular foot. The spout has a human face in relief on its underside, and the ear-shaped handle has scales or leaves, down its length, a thumb piece at the top, and an upward curling terminal at the lower end. The sides are decorated with incised lozenge shapes with double outlines alternating with groups of three vertical lines. Above and below this there are bands of coarse breadcrumb decoration. The low domed cover has fluted sides and a band of breadcrumb decoration on the top.
