Shape: circular, bulbous body on a disc base, brass replacement lid terminating in a finial.
Exterior: on the shoulder a frieze of panels of a swastika or Y-shaped pattern, separated by lozenge medallions containing floral designs painted in reserve. On the body three large circular medallions are flanked by smaller circular medallions all on a background of swastika or cross shaped patterns. Inside the medallions individual birds, deer or insects, are depicted in landscapes incorporating water, rocks and foliage. On the lower body a frieze of stylised lotus heads painted in reserve within panels. Glaze runs over the body to the base. The lid is decorated with panels of foliage separated by concentric bands of leaves.
