Painted in dark blue, pale blue, pale green, yellow, orange, and opaque white. Shape appoximately 66 but less convex in the centre. The central medallion contains two nude infants with draperies wrestling or embracing in a landscape edged by simulated beading. The lower part of the sides are decorated with orange dotted motifs, the rest with grotesques reserved in a dark blue ground: four musical trophies, each with scrolls below and a mask above, alternate with four military trophies, each flanked by cornucopiae and exotic birds and surmounted by a winged shell. The spaces by the rim are filled by small military trophies. The back is painted in the middle in blue with a crossed circle with a smaller circle in one quarter. Radiating from the base there is a double row of petals, alternately filled with blue and orange transverse lines. The spaces between the tips of the outer petals are striped in orange.
