The bulbous lobed pot has a curved spout and a loop handle with a thumbpiece at the top and another projection near the lower end. There are four small pouring holes in the wall of the pot at its junction with the spout. Its oval slightly domed cover has a ventilation hole, and a knob in the shape of a recumbent lamb. On each side of the body there is a rural scene with a three-storey house at the top flanked by three trees on the left and one on the right. Below these, on the left there are two sheep and one ewe with a lamb, and on the right, two cows and a calf. At the bottom of the scene there are three swans on a lake, and on its left, a man fishing from a boat. On both sides of the scene there are vertical scrolls and small panels of trellis work.
