object type: Cream-coloured earthenware with lead glaze and mould-applied reliefs touched with green and manganese-purple oxides underglaze. The teapot has a globular body, s-curved round spout and crabstock handle. Each side of the teapot features a symmetrical pattern with a flower at the centre with a scroll below and flanked by looped scrolls with flowers hanging from anthemia. The lid has a twig loop handle.
