On the body a fish-headed monster with a tail wears spotted clothes and holds a standard. The figure is flanked by plants with fern like leaves. The composition is painted in a sketchy style. Glaze is cracked and has pooled at one point in the cavetto. Exterior: undecorated except for pitted glaze which runs unevenly over the lower body. Splashes of glaze are present on the underside of the foot ring.
