object type: Dark brown and white marbled clays (solid agateware) press-moulded, with splashes of blue, and salt-glaze.  The lady stands facing the front. Her hair is drawn back from her forehead and into a chignon behind. She wears a skirt with vertical stripes or tucks over a hoop, a stomacher, and a jacket bodice with a sack back (a pet-en-lair). and wide flounced sleeves. Round her neck has a double ruched ribbon neck band.
