object type: Cream earthenware, moulded, and decorated thinly and unevenly in green and dark brown oxide colours under lead-glaze. The owl stands on an almost circular green mound base which is open underneath.  Its head is turned towards the viewer and it has a prominent beak and large glaring eyes surrounded by radiating incised strokes.
