Anthony reclines sideways on an oblong rocky base with a low heap of rocks at the left end, and four flower heads at intervals across the front. . He looks upwards towards the viewer's right. His right forearm rests on the higher rocks, and he holds the tip of the hilt of his sword in his right hand. His right leg is extended under his left, and his left hand rests on his right thigh. He has greyish-brown hair, pink flesh. and red lips. He wears a silver-lustre cuirass with red edging, a red belt, a manganese-purple skirt lined with yellow, and sandals with red straps. His cloak, on which he is lying, is manganese-purple with a turquoise lining.
