The underside is concave and glazed, and has a large ventilation hole below the figure. The slender youth stands in front of a tree trunk on a low round mound base. He has long brown hair, a pale complexion, and bare legs and feet. He looks down towards his left. His right shoulder, arms and hands are concealed by a dark brown mantle lined with reddish-brown, which he holds around himself as if feeling cold.
