The moulded lid is decorated with underglaze blackish brown bands and spiral vegetal patterns. The interior of the lid is unglazed. The decorative motif on the lid continues on the body of the bowl. The interior of the bowl has been half heartedly glazed. The lower body, slightly carved foot ring, and base, are unglazed. Pinkish tan biscuit with black speckles. Traces of a pontil scar.
