The metal thread outlines a red silk cross. At the top above the cross, Christ in Majesty wears a blue mantle; his right hand is raised in blessing. The crucifixion scene depicts a Christ with his head turned towards the left; his loincloth is made of couched silver thread. the angles that surround the scene bear chalices to catch his blood. Their wings are blue and their robes a deep cream. On the left arm of the cross Saint Peter wears a blue mantle over a red robe; in his left hand he bears the keys and in his right a green covered book. On the right arm of the cross Saint Paul wears a green mantle over a red robe; he bears a scar on his head and a sword in his right hand. At the foot of the cross there is the Blessed virgin to the left who wears a blue mantle over a red robe. Mary Magdalene kneels in the foreground, wearing a green mantle over a blue robe. The background is of silver thread couched with red silk, the cross in couched in silver thread and the foreground is of silk laid and couched with lines of silver thread.
